Are you over-working yourself trying to increase traffic to your blog or website? I will give you a few tips in this post which will increase your traffic and reduce your workload. Read on!
- Put captions under your images, rich with keywords, as Alternate Text
- If you can put alternate text with an image in HTML view, add it, again, with lots of keywords
- Headings are also a very good place to insert some keywords, as well as META Tags
- Get links from other sites, eg. You have a link to their site on yours, and vice-versa
- Get your message out there by using social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, and not only getting your message out there, also interact with people on these sites
- Research – make sure you research keywords in your niche with a program such as Wordtracker
- Start your content with the most important keyword, and end with the second-most important
- Use Digg – Very useful for getting your article read. The more Diggs you get, the more people will read it and click your link.
- Write articles to article directories such as Ezine. These are great; you write about a particular area you know a lot about, establish yourself as an expert, and then include a link to your blog/website
- Lots of content. The more content you have, the better Google and other search engines will rank you. Remember; Content is King.
